Public transport resumed on the federal highway section between Novoe and Tymovskoye at 16:00 Sakhalin time on 7 November 2026.
Does this affect me?
Intercity bus passengers traveling through the Novoe–Tymovskoye corridor in central Sakhalin. The reopening applies to this section and does not establish unrestricted access farther north toward Nogliki or Okha.

Check current departures with the bus operator before traveling. Passengers continuing north of Tymovskoye should separately verify road restrictions rather than assuming the entire Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk–Okha highway has reopened.
