Poland: Unrestricted drinking-water use restored across Staroźreby supply
Published:
What changed
On 6 November, the Płock sanitary inspector confirmed that the Staroźreby public water supply, serving approximately 4,072 residents, is again suitable for unrestricted consumption after microbiological water quality improved.
Does this affect me?
Visitors, accommodation providers, food businesses and residents connected to the Staroźreby public water supply across the 24 listed communities, including Staroźreby and surrounding villages. The clearance applies specifically to this network and does not extend to the separate Rogowo water supply.
What should I do?
Travelers whose accommodation is connected to the Staroźreby public water supply can resume normal drinking and food preparation using tap water without boiling. Confirm the property's supply network before ending precautions, particularly where nearby communities use a different water system.
